ABOUT MICHELLE Michelle Basham's experience includes 12 years designing kitchens and baths and 17 years as an accessory decorator during which she staged homes for resale. Her background gives her an extensive amount of insight into the design process and allows her to draw from a wealth of experience. To stay up to date on the newest industry trends she attends ongoing cabinet manufacturers training focused on new techniques, product releases and advancements. She enjoys using her imagination to design beautiful kitchen & baths and utilizes the 20-20 CAD Design Software to produce 3D renderings of her designs. Michelle's passion for home design stems from her dedication to her own family. Beginning her career she focused on a work life balance that allowed her to spend time with her small children. "When my kids were old enough to start school I found myself wanting to work during the day and be home with them in the evenings. I always knew I wanted to be able to focus my work on homes, I feel the home is the most important place to be" says Michelle. Her approach to the design process is to really get to know each of her clients and uncover what they are aiming to achieve in their project. With her vast experience she is able to give valuable suggestions to increase design functionality and beauty. Listening to homeowners dreams and being able to bring those dreams to life is truly her strength. Michelle explains, "Price is rarely the most important part of designing a new kitchen. I think that knowing that the person you choose to design your kitchen is going to listen to what you want and deliver the perfect kitchen of your dreams is what makes all the difference."
