This cooktop is perfect! I love the auto chef option, which keeps everything at the proper temperature. The lock option during cooking to wipe off the surface is also a good feature. This cooktop is quick to respond, heats very quickly, and is laid out nicely. I previously had another brand of cooktop, but the Bosch is by far the superior. I am a fan!

I ordered a Bosch cooktop model: NIT8069UC/01 on December 2020. It was delivered and installed less than 1 ½ years ago in February 2021. The cooktop failed 6 months later in August 2021. Bosch came to replace an operating module in September 2021. The cooktop has failed intermittently since then but would typically work after resetting the unit. Well now my Bosch cooktop is repeatedly failing again and the reset is not working reliably. I called for my extended warrantee. They sent someone to troubleshoot the cooktop June 28, 2022. The gentleman said the cooktop needs 3 of the 4 burners replaced, the mother board replaced, and, it also needs troubleshooting for a short in the wiring. I think this is extensive for a cooktop that is 1 1/2 years old and not used regularly. The extended warrantee company is willing to give me what I paid for the cooktop but now the cooktop is twice what I paid 1 1/2 years ago so I am not a very happy consumer to say the least. I cannot believe I have had so many issues with a new cooktop and that these problems continually repeat themselves. My cooktop has had multiple issues and seems to be a lemon.
