We purchased our LG dishwasher about 7 months ago. Recently we received an AE error on the dishwasher when someone casually leaned against the front of it. We could not reset this error on our own and called LG customer service to fix it. The people I worked with seemed inexperienced and confused. Once they determined I needed service the only appointments available were over a week out. I don't understand why they make a product that easily gets an error when a person casually leans on it. I ended up not being able to use my dishwasher for several weeks. Besides the error, the dishwasher has been working fine.

We purchased several LG appliances when we moved into our new home because I was under the impression that they had a very good reputation. However, this LG diswasher was lest than a year old and still under warranty when we bought the house. The electronic panel went haywire. But, I was told I could not take advantage of it because I was not the original buyer. Was then told by a repairman that LG was very expensive to repair due to the parts.
