So happy appliance to our household but that's the only washers and dryers that just makes so much noise or fail to dry everything all the way but I've been more than satisfied with this purchase and with how much laundry we do in our house it takes quite the machine to keep up

We made the mistake of purchasing all samsung appliances. The dryer is only 6 months old and the gas valve is already leaking inside the dryer. Requested service from samsung and they sent their authorized repair tech, whom after 2 services in my house, broke the dryer completely. they closed my ticket, saying it's working and non-defective. I argued with samsung with video proof of the broken dryer. Four weeks in and 6 calls to samsung, I was promised exchange or refund, but as of today, they're retracting their offer. Samsung, get yourself together and stop making empty promises. Future customers, save yourself the head and avoid samsung appliances altogether! See photo and video of after services by samsung's authorized center. Do yourself a favor and google reviews for uncensored reviews.

We've had this just a year or two after the warranty expires. Seems they know just how long their stuff will last. Upon calling support, they took 30 minutes to get details...fine, but apparently they got them wrong. When I called back they said the email and phone didnt work. I have a hard time believing that they messed them both up. I repeated many times and he read back. My guess is there is a problem in their chain. Anyhow, poor dryer, poor support. Buy something else. I do love their TV's and their SmartThings though.

this dryer has served us well for about 2.5 years but the main drum/blower motor just burned itself out. you'd think this would last longer but apparently not. dc31-00055g is the motor part number if you are handy and are willing to replace it yourself. fortunately it is under $100 on amazon.
