clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
So it keeps things cold and I like the bottom mount freezer. The first time I moved it to clean behind it started making more noise and I haven't been able to figure that out yet. The worst feature is the produce drawers. They aren't big enough and when you pull them out far enough to see everything they tend to fall off their tracks. That is something I use several times a day, so it gets very annoying. Otherwise, I guess it works well enough.

I got another fridge and exchanged it for this one. It was worth the extra money. The stainless is higher quality. It's set up nice on the inside. There is an ice maker option which I'm getting installed in a week.

We bought the entire set with in the past few months. Over all it's a nice fridge. The fan is louder than our old one but holds plenty after figuring out good heights of the shelves.

I like the features of this refrig and it's running well. Only problem so far is the refrig handle is flimsy and loose. That said, I reserve my real review for about 2 years from now. I say this because today's appliances all have circuit boards which in my personal exoerience give out and need replacement sometimes as soon as two years. I'm hoping that won't be the case with Kitchen Aid. We'll see.
