Purchased 2 weeks ago, already have lost whirlpool badge, fell off, and the fridge handle is already loose.mot liking the way shelves in fridge part are set up,not enough spaces for tall bottles and milk cartons.Not liking the third drawer in fridge, only need two.Ice maker makes a mess in tray.

First let me say Home Depo is GREAT. The color on the frig is a super shiny BLACK but if you call Whrilpool , they have no idea. I called 5 times to them & got 3 different answers. When i got delivered again H/D guys where GREAT. This frig was so LOUD OMG.. I called Whirlpool and they where worthless but I got the # to the local appliance repair they came out and said the compressor needs to replaced. So they just replaced it this am. Well NOW it does not SNORE or girl anymore. The one thing I dont like about it is the shelves are not adjustable. So if you try and put a normal size bottle of Dasani water its 8.25 tall but the shelves are only 7 inches a part Unless you remove one of the slide out draws.

We've had this refrigerator for just over a year now. On the first ice maker the flapper door did not close at the right speed and usually caught an ice cube in the flap - which then melted, spilled water, and also let warm air into the freezer. We had that replaced just before warranty ran out (after always checking it and removing it by hand for a year). Now, we came back from vacation, and the ice maker is not making ice at all. So we'll have to make an expensive call to have it looked at for repair (just a couple months outside of warranty). Very frustrating. Also, some other design features are not ideal - the refrigerator shelves are not adjustable, so all tall items have to fit on the top shelf; or you slide in the half shelf... but that takes away a significant amount of shelf storage. Otherwise, it's been a fine refrigerator. Fingerprint resistant stainless is nice, and it looks good in the kitchen. But the job of a refrigerator isn't really to look good, is it?
